This was our first time at Morongo and first at Cielo. It blew away our expectations! Food was amazing: coconut shrimp, steaks, shrimp topping on steaks, bone marrow, butter cake. We came here upon the recommendation of a friend to celebrate my birthday. Cielo is nestled in California’s Cabazon Valley, 20 miles west of Palm Springs, and in between the spectacular San Gorgonio and San Jacinto mountain ranges. Located on the 27th floor of the Morongo Resort and Casino, Cielo is set aglow with stunning chandeliers. Cielo is quite literally a jewel at the top of the Morongo Resort and Casino.

: If you’re staying at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, Cielo is a solid (and convenient) dining option. The views from the 27th-floor venue are commanding, and the à la carte menu features some nice appetizers, plus caviar selections. Classic dishes such as oysters Rockefeller and Châteaubriand are found alongside free-range chicken and lamb chops. Guests can enhance their beef or seafood choice with an array of sauces. Nothing rounds out a heavy carnivorous meal like a velvety butter cake, which is one of the many desserts. A lengthy wine list, a full bar and an array of ports make this a dining experience worth gambling on.
